5.1 Conclusion
Laravel is a fantastic framework for building web apps. There are lots of reasons, but it's the focus on simplicity that I like the most.
Everything that we did in this course was simple, at least compared to how it would be done in other languages, platforms, and frameworks. From creating our applications to performing migrations, adding controllers, models, and views, and making it all work together, Laravel makes it easy.

5.1 Conclusion
Laravel is a fantastic framework for building web applications for a variety of reasons, but above all it's the focus on simplicity that I like the most. And everything that we did in this course was, well, simple at least compared to other languages, platforms and frameworks. From creating our applications to performing migrations, adding controllers, models, views and making it all work together. It was very easy and straightforward. Some of that comes from the PHP language itself. But Taylor Otwell, the guy who created and develops Laravel, extended PHP's simplicity to Laravel. And as someone who develops web applications with many other languages and platforms, I can appreciate the level of attention that Taylor Otwell gives Laravel in order to make it as simple yet flexible and powerful, as possible. So as I leave you, I hope that this course has given you a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of Laravel. It's an MVC framework and you now know how to use models, views and controllers to quickly and painlessly build web applications. Thank you so much for watching this course. Please feel free to contact me via Twitter or the Tuts+ forums if you have any questions. From all of us here at Tuts+, thank you, and I will see you next time.
