2.2 Vagrant As A Virtual Server
Since our goal is to run our application in a place other than our local machine, we need to either find a hosting service that will keep a dedicated space for us, prepare a home server or actually create one on the fly. In this course, we’re picking the latter choice by using Vagrant. It automates virtual machines based off a configuration file inside our project. It uses Virtualbox to set everything up so we don’t need to spend a single dollar to simulate our experience.
In this lesson you’ll learn how to install Vagrant, create a new Ubuntu Linux box and also how to interact with it by performing some bootstrap operations.
