Now's the time to digging into the specifics about those basics to see what your options are when performing certain functions. And today is the day that we're going to expand your knowledge about file handling. Today we're going to review the basics of reading and writing files. A few gotcha's and some nice shortcuts to keep in mind. Why not go right to the shortcuts? Because it's always important when learning new things to have an appreciation for what those shortcuts are taking the place of. So without further ado, let's jump into some file handling with PHP.
