3.1 Conclusion

HTTP communication with JavaScript has certainly changed over the last 20 years. We started with the raw XMLHttpRequest object which, quite frankly, wasn't fun to use. But we now have a plethora of third-party libraries that make it easy to make HTTP requests.

After watching this course, you should have a solid understanding of how to make and work with HTTP requests. This is a skill you will use in just about every web-oriented project!

My name is Jeremy McPeak. Thank you for watching.

3.1 Conclusion

HTTP communication has certainly changed over the last 20 years. We started with the raw XMLHttp object, which quite frankly wasn't fun to use. But now, we have a plethora of third-party libraries that make it easy to issue and work with HTTP requests. Axios is just one of such libraries. And I encourage you to experiment with other solutions because after all, code is subjective. What I like might not necessarily be what you like. But with saying that, Axios is a fantastic tool that you can add to your toolbox. It's my hope that after watching this course that you will have a solid understanding of how to make and work with HTTP requests. This is a skill that you will use in just about every web oriented project. And so it's important to understand how to make requests from simple get requests all the way to uploading files using multi part requests. Thank you so much for watching this course. Please feel free to contact me on Twitter or the Tuts+ forums if you have any questions. From all of us here at Tuts+, thank you and I will see you next time.
