Just about everyone has probably used Google Maps one time or another. If you need to find an address or map yourself to a location, Google Maps can be very useful. A long with that, developers can leverage the Google Maps API to create their own apps that take advantage of the Google Maps infrastructure. Now most people would not think of using Google Maps as a possible platform to build their apps, but you'll be surprised to know that many companies are making use of the Google Maps API in their projects. In this course you will learn to use the APIs in your projects, and the various ways that you can extract the data you need from the Google Maps platform.
