1.1 Introduction

[MUSIC] Hi, my name's Jason Green and I'm a Software Engineer at the MailOnline. In this video, I'm going to be talking about creating a full-stack reactive connection from the client model to the server into the database and back out to other clients. To do this, we'll be using milo.js. The framework we developed at the MailOnline to create not only the bespoke CMS application that runs all of the content of the Mail Online, but also several other apps as well. We're going to walk through this fully functional Slack clone application, which uses this technique and manages to get away with about 30 lines of server code. As you can see, if I type a message in here. If I open up the other window where we logged in, you'll see that the messages come up there.
