Free Copies of Learning jQuery 1.3

by

Generously, the folks over at Packt Publishing were nice enough to send me some copies of the recently released Learning jQuery 1.3, by Karl Swedberg and Jonathan Chaffer. I just finished reading it this past weekend. It's fantastic, and should be on your bookshelf!

How Do I Get It?

Just leave a comment asking for it! That's enough for me. We'll then select a few numbers at random, and will email those respective winners! Be sure to include an email address, or a link to your website. I need a way to get in touch with you! Good luck! If you don't win, I highly recommend picking up a copy at your local bookstore. This revised book helped me a great deal when first getting started with jQuery.

Easy Ways to Contribute to Open-source ProjectsOpen source retina preview
When the jQuery project first started, I remember how passionate the team was about helping developers use the jQuery JavaScript library. And we did those for free because we just loved doing it. But as the project grew, so did the expectations from the community in terms of features and support. And this is where most open-source efforts fail to scale. Read More…
